Freedom Poster Contest

2017 Theme: We the People

 

 

Eligibility:

The Moorestown 4th of July Parade Committee is sponsoring a poster contest for elementary students. Children residing in Moorestown or attending a school in Moorestown (MTPS/OLGC/Friends) are eligible to enter. They must be between the ages of 5 and 9 years to participate.

The contest begins May 1st and ends on May 31st.

How to Enter:  

 

  • Submit your completed entry form signed by the entrant and his/her parent or guardian.

 

  • Submit your original artwork on poster board measuring 14” x 22”.  Your artwork should express your interpretation of the theme, “Stars and Stripes.”

 

  • Print your name, address, telephone number on the entry form.  Then, secure it to the back of the poster.

 

  • Official forms may downloaded from the button below.   

 

Entries must be post marked by May 31st, and mailed to Moorestown 4th of July Parade Committee, 132 Harding Avenue, Moorestown, NJ, 08057, or delivered in person to the Moorestown Library.

Each child may submit only one (1) entry. This entry represents and warrants his/her work is 100% the original artwork of the entrant produced for this contest. All entries are subject to verification and become the property of the 4th of July Parade Committee, and none will be returned or acknowledged.

Entries will be displayed in the Library and in stores along the parade route of Chester and Main Streets.

Selection of Winner:

All entries will be judged by persons appointed by the 4th of July Parade Committee. All decisions made by the judges are final.

Prizes:   Winners will receive certificates of recognition and be honored by riding as Special Guests in the Parade!
