The 2016 Parade is Approved

The time is here to start planning for the 2016 Moorestown 4th of July Parade! On March 21, Moorestown Town Council did approve the Parade Committee’s request to hold the parade and issued a signed proclamation authorizing the Parade to take place on Moorestown’s streets.

Therefore, the Committee is happy to announce that we are going to hold not only the Parade on the 4th of July, but the Freedom Lecture (June 2 at the Moorestown Library) and the Freedom Poster Contest in the Moorestown grade schools.

The theme for the 2016 4th of July Parade is Stars and Stripes. How will your group use this? Will it inform the colors and patterns of what you wear? Will you build a tribute to our nation’s flag? Start collecting ideas and materials because the Parade steps off noon on July 4th, and that is only about 3 months from now!

About the Parade

The Moorestown 4th of July Parade is an all-volunteer effort by the Parade Committee, which is now registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit.
